Tragedy struck Sunday afternoon in Ilorin as three persons inside a car were crushed to death by a moving train. Two young men and a lady were inside a Toyota Camry car with all four windows wound up when they were crushed by the moving train said to be coming from the north to Offa. the three occupants of the car unknowingly parked on the railway line at Kulende area of Zango as they were said to be carried away by what they were doing in the car.
An eye witness said: “As the train was fast approaching, several shouts and alerts by the passers by to the three occupants inside the Toyota Camry car to drive away from the railway line failed as they could not hear what the people were saying.
